Evolving out of successful birding trips to Azerbaijan, a brewing local commitment with international friends and my own personal experience with youth exchange; this has all lead to…..                         Bird Camp Besh Barmag!

Bird Camp Besh Barmag – the initiative

The initiative in short is to do activities, like the Bird Camp, that brings young interested people together for bird watching, nature conservation and international co-working. To meet, learn and develop. Eco/sustainable tourism, local communities and organizations in this field can all benefit from this. Read more in the project plan available below.

We have done bird migration field camps in October 2015, September 2016 and soon in April 2017. Join us!

If the idea of volunteer work for the sake of nature conservation  interests you then please also join our Facebook group Conservation Volunteers Network https://www.facebook.com/groups/299951320058782/

The Swedish Embassy in Baku support the initiative with local contacts and Baku-based travel agency Caspian Tour provides us with reliable infrastructure in terms of transports, hotel nights, tourist visas and other paperwork.
