This small eastern Mediterranean country has some rich birding, mainly in migration times, but this fact is often overshadowed by the continuing political instability and rampant illegal bird hunting.
I went here in May 2006 during my years in Egypt and again several times as we initiated the Bird Camp concept in Lebanon in October 2018.
