Bird Camp Besh Barmag – the initiative
The initiative in short is to do activities, like the Bird Camp, that brings young interested people together for bird watching, nature conservation and international co-working. To meet, learn and develop. Eco/sustainable tourism, local communities and organizations in this field can all benefit from this. Read more in the project plan available below.
We have done bird migration field camps in October 2015, September 2016 and April 2017. Join us! For the autumn 2018 there will be bird migration monitoring and related activities.
If the idea of volunteer work for the sake of nature conservation interests you then please also join our Facebook group Conservation Volunteers Network https://www.facebook.com/groups/299951320058782/
Core partners in this initiative, so far, are BirdLife Europe/Central Asia and with its national partners in Azerbaijan, Sweden and Germany, OSME and key local partner Nature Friends Azerbaijan. The camps have been sponsored by OSME and Batumi Birding and the above mentioned partners.
