Birding in the land of the Pharaos
During the four winter seasons 2002-2006, October to April, I was working as a tour guide in Egypt. I lived in the Red Sea resort village of El Gouna, just north of Hurghada. Totally two years of living, working and birdwatching in this fascinating country gave me a lot of experience. This I now use to hold lectures and slide shows as well as arranging birding trips to Egypt. I am also a board member of the Egyptian Ornithological Rarities Committee.
