Born 1980 in Örebro in south central Sweden. Birdwatcher since childhood with seasons of working at Ottenby Bird Observatory and other good bird areas in Sweden. Eager traveller, even though I am now settled again in Örebro with studies, with a great interest in the birds, culture and history of the Middle East.
Educated and professional tour guide with nearly two years time of living and birding in Egypt. Working experience also from Crete (nine months) and Lanzarote (nine months). Over the years I have travelled in the Middle East as well as in southeast Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
Skilled, focused and experienced birder in the field in Middle East settings as well as in Swedish. Member of the Egyptian Rare Birds Committee. Certified PADI Scuba diver with a passion for the marine fauna.
At present, I study history and religion of the Middle East and the arabic language at the University of Stockholm and lives with Liza.
